Question: Will there be room at the inn for all who pour into Eugene for the Trials?
Answer: If you're an athlete, a coach, an official, a sponsor or a member of the sports media, don't worry. If you're a fan from out of town, however, the race for rooms could be a sprint with a few high hurdles along the way.
Organizers have secured 1,524 rooms at 22 hotels and motels in Eugene and Springfield. Three have blocked out all their rooms: The Days Inn and Franklin Village in Eugene and the Quality Inn in Springfield's Gateway district.
