As Europe's largest and best-known processor of turkey and other meat products, Bernard Matthews has an enviable reputation for quality, efficiency and innovative product development. To comply with recent legislation whereby meat must be maintained below 40 C at all times during any process, the company has installed two modules, each containing three Contherm Scraped Surface Heat Exchangers (SSHEs) at its turkey processing plant in Halesworth, Suffolk.
