Oz was somewhere over the rainbow, but it was no picnic.
Playing a Munchkin in the original "Wizard of Oz" meant long days for short pay, said one member of the tiny troupe.
"I hated it," said Donna Stewart-Hardway, one of the few child actors dressed up as a Munchkin. "It was always `Donna Jean do this and Donna Jean do that,' " said Hardway, now 73.
Hardway brought a treasured keepsake, a ruby slipper from the set, and a trove of memories to Hamilton yesterday, where parents and children are producing their own version of the 1939 ...
