Pamela Flaherty, senior vice president for global community relations at Citigroup Inc., accepted an award Monday on the company's behalf at a star-studded event honoring organizations that foster sustainable development.
"We think this is good business," Ms. Flaherty said at Global Green U.S.A.'s Designing a Sustainable and Secure World Awards in New York. The emcees were the actress Glenn Close and Public Broadcasting Service president and CEO Pat Mitchell.
