COBURG - Monaco Coach Corp. has acquired an Indiana-based maker of travel trailers, fifth-wheels and motor homes for $60 million, a deal that should provide an almost immediate boost to the company's bottom line, executives said.
The privately held R-Vision group of companies, based in Warsaw, Ind., is the industry's sixth-largest maker of towables and an industry leader in the lightweight segment with brands based on the Trail-Lite trade name. In addition to trailers, it makes fifth-wheels, Class A motor homes and Class C motor homes.
