IN the guest book of our hotel, there is an entry from a previous visitor which perfectly sums up my quandary.
It reads: "So beautiful and peaceful that we would recommend it to all our friends. But therein lies the problem - it's so lovely that we don't want to spoil it by attracting too many visitors."
Surveying the breathtaking view of southern Spain's Sierra de las Nieves natural park from the Cerro de Hijar hotel, I can see what he meant. It is also exactly the way I feel about the whole of Andalucia.
