Republic Group has announced the appointment of Santiago Sanchez as sales and marketing director of European operations, effective Sept. 1. Sanchez is a graduate engineer of Polytechnic University in Barcelona, where he also received his MBA from ESADE. He was formerly commercial director at Miguel y Costas & Miguel S.A., where he specialized in the cigarette-paper market.
