For three days, the Seattle Center's Fisher Pavilion teemed with bodies laid bare before the needle in the sixth annual Seattle Tattoo Convention. The event began Friday and ended Sunday, but the art will continue to be on display through out the year thanks to the mobile quality of this medium.
Organizers estimated about 7,000 visitors went to finish projects they'd started or to continue work with favorite artists who came from as far away as France and Italy. About 95 shops poured into the pavilion, but 40 shops were turned away because space ran short.
