DUBLIN, OH, Nov. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- In just three weeks, Tim Hortons customers donated $679,769.95 (USD) for the Red Cross emergency relief efforts to help families affected by Hurricane Katrina. From September 8th to 30th, Tim Horton Children's Foundation coin boxes in over 2,700 participating Tim Hortons stores and drive thrus across Canada and the United States, collected funds for the Red Cross Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. This generous customer donation is in addition to the over $420,000 (USD) corporate donation to the Canadian Red Cross on behalf of all Tim Hortons Store Owners, their staff and all corporate offices.
