FOND DU LAC -- Wherefore art thou, Romeos?
On a recent weekday, they were at the Main Exchange bar and restaurant in downtown Fond du Lac, sharing jabs and jokes over lunch.
"This one's an overnighter," shouted Eddie Arnold, a retired systems programmer for Giddings and Lewis.
He's the guy who delivers the one-liners while 20 men munch on soup and sandwiches, laughing at their own jokes.
The local ROMEO Club, newly formed, is an unofficial chapter of a national organization. The acronym stands for "Retired Old Men Eating Out."
