Retired Overture Center president Robert D'Angelo may have padded his vacation pay and done private consulting work on city government time, according to records obtained by the Wisconsin State Journal.
Though not all of D'Angelo's recorded travel can be independently verified, Madison Mayor Dave Cieslewicz has asked D'Angelo to account for his time and said he will tighten policies to minimize chances for abuse in the future.
Mayoral spokesman George Twigg said the "the mayor expects all city employees, including Bob D'Angelo, to do the work they are paid to do."
