SEOUL, Nov. 23 (Yonhap) -- South Korea's foreign minister said Wednesday that his country was going to formally inform the United States of its planned reduction of troops in Iraq after receiving parliamentary approval of the plan.Ban Ki-moon stressed that South Korea would remain committed to assisting reconstruction work in the Middle Eastern nation even after the troop drawdown."The two countries' military authorities have been in close consultations on the issue, but South Korea could not officially notify the US of the plan due to the government's internal decision-making process," Ban said during his weekly press briefing.The South ...
