WEST Bromwich will soon be able to boast the largest community arts centre in Europe as a "pink palace" rises to dominate the town.
Although The Public has had its share of critics as the original pounds 40 million bill escalated to pounds 54 million, Sandwell's citizens cannot wait for it to open next year.
Visitors to the latest in a series of open days, giving people the chance to see first-hand the progress of the futuristic complex in the heart of West Bromwich, were delighted with what they saw.
