With this issue SJR closes out its 35th year of publication. Before we begin our 36th volume next month, we'd like to highlight some of our favorite columns from the past year. Our columnists regularly get to the crux of St. Louis journalism, issues and events, and the following selections, taken from issues between November 2004 and October 2005, are almost prophetic in their evaluations. Daily journalism is changing in this city, and these columns are as pertinent this month as when they were written.
