Angela Bassett and Laurence Fishburne bring the volatile relationship between Ike and Tina Turner to the big screen in the recently-released film What's Love Got To Do With It.

The movie basically tells the story of Tina's life and is based, in part, on her autobiography I, Tina. The film tells how Tina went from being a shy and passive woman who endured numerous savage beatings to one who is self-assured, independent and a world-class superstar.
