You don't need an A-Z to find the designer Ab Rogers' house in Wimbledon.
Just follow the main road past all the tasteful redbrick mansions with large SUVs parked outside and look out for two bright yellow glass boxes connected by a courtyard. You can't miss them.
This is the house that the architect Richard Rogers designed for his then 75-year-old mother Darda, which is now occupied by his 38-year-old son Ab, his wife, the chef Sophie Braimbridge, their two young daughters, Ella and Lula, and eight studio assistants. Talk about life/work balance: on the day of my visit, Sophie is testing recipes for a new cookbook ...
