In October 2005, Cable Positive awarded grants totaling $75,492 to 16 community-based AIDS service organizations to join forces with their local cable systems in an effort to fight HIV/AIDS locally through community partnerships via the Tony Cox Community Fund 2005 Cycle 2. The fund is dedicated to providing grants for qualified non-profit organizations to partner with their local cable systems in the aim of HIV/AIDS awareness, education, and prevention.
