American Friction Welding, Inc. (Brookfield, WI), one of the largest friction welding sub-contractors in the U.S., once boasted of having six Thompson (Clinton Township, MI) friction welding machines whose forge capacities range from 4-tons to 120-tons. Now the company is expanding its capacity by adding a seventh.

Much of its custom work exposes customers to the heaven of new and unique welding possibilities, using a variety of materials never before considered.
