NEW YORK -- It has long been the capital for old money, but Florida's Palm Beach is undergoing a transformation. Although residents' pocketbooks are still among the fattest in the country, the city is no longer a haven for ripened millionaires only -- the locals are skewing younger and younger.
To serve that shifting demographic, an upscale retail center on Worth Avenue is undergoing a makeover, both inside and out. The result, which will be unveiled at an invitation-only gala this week, will be "150 Worth," a two-story outdoor shopping center serving a double-dose of luxury and fashion.
