'Tis the season for holiday model trains, and enthusiasts will be happy to know the annual exhibit at the U.S. Botanic Garden has more than tripled in size.
The entire Garden Court - as opposed to the traditional, much smaller West Gallery - is host to 8-foot-tall wooden trestles and bridges, model trains and various miniature Washington landmarks. This year's theme is the Mall and parts of residential Capitol Hill (which serves as the Christmas village).
