To keep the mood light, when Neuqua Valley boys basketball coach Todd Sutton asked how many turnovers his team made Friday night, his statistician answered "94."

The Wildcats weren't that ungainly at East Aurora in both teams' Upstate Eight Conference opener, but even slicing 70 off that is still too many to stomach.

East Aurora forced a number of those of errors in a nine-minute stretch of the second half. From late in the third quarter to midway through the fourth, the pell-mell Tomcats enjoyed a 22-2 run that had them coasting to a 69-51 victory.
