A new fisheries partnership between the EU and the Comoros was signed in Brussels on November 29 by EU Fisheries Commissioner Joe Borg and Minister for Fishing in the Comoros Mohamed Abdoulhamid. The new Protocol which is to remain in force until 2010, defines fisheries policy cooperation between the two parties, and the mechanisms to make that commitment a reality.
