ESTATE agents are choking the life out of London's high streets, campaigners claimed today.

An Evening Standard analysis has discovered that in some neighbourhoods there are more than 20 firms within a few hundreds of yards of each other.

In Chiswick, 27 estate agents are packed into High Road and Turnham Green Terrace.
