ESTATE agents are choking the life out of London's high streets, campaigners claimed today.
An Evening Standard analysis has discovered that in some neighbourhoods, there are more than 20 firms within a few hundreds of yards of each other.
In Chiswick almost 30 estate agents are packed into High Road and Turnham Green Terrace. In Putney High Street, Upper Richmond Road and Lower Richmond Road there are 24.
In West Hampstead there are 20 in and around West End Lane and Finchley Road.
Other estate agent hotspots include Upper Street, Islington, Wimbledon Village, Clapham High Street, Barnes ...
