James Edward Goetch Sr. Services for James Edward Goetch Sr., 75, will be held Friday, at Lindstrom's Funeral Home in Cresco, Iowa. James was born Oct. 18, 1930, in Des Moines, Iowa, and died Sunday, Dec. 4, 2005, at Northwest Community Healthcare. James earned his Eagle Scout award, was a member of the National Guard, earned his master's degree and taught driver's education and shop in Cresco. James then moved to the Chicagoland area and worked for Allstate for 17 years and served as a trustee for Wheeling Township. James also worked for Jack Martin's Company as an automotive engineer before retiring. James enjoyed fishing, camping, whittling and traveling. James is ...
