Dec. 7--The English-language Business Day newspaper was changed from its daily basis with five days a week to three times a week, blaming higher cost and competition from other media.
The move was the biggest change in its 10-year history, according to S. Roy, the president and editor of Business Day Co.
Launched on Jan 9, 1995, Business Day is the third-largest English-language newspaper in the market after the Bangkok Post and The Nation.
The new Business Day will now be published on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and feature 16 pages per issue, up from 12, with the addition of more local and regional news, especially on emerging markets ...
