New York-based International Photographic Council (IPC), a multinational nonprofit organization of the United Nations, has elected two new members to its board of directors: Liz Vickers, publisher of PTN and Studio Photography & Design magazines, and Karen Thomas, president of Thomas Public Relations, Inc.

Vickers and Thomas will bring more than 20 years' combined experience in the photo industry to increase IPC's visibility with high-profile events such as IPC's Hall of Fame and Professional Photographer Awards and Photography Scholarships for college students around the world.
