Movie Q&A: Oldie may not be a goodie due to tape age.

Q: The first movie we ever taped off the air with our first-ever VHS machine in 1985 was a heavily cut version of "American Hot Wax." It was about rock `n' roll disc jockey Alan Freed, who plied his trade in Akron and Cleveland, Ohio, before making it big in New York City, with Jay Leno as his driver and Fran Drescher as his secretary. It had some wonderful moments of the early rock scene, culminating with Freed's second annual Brooklyn All-Star Concert.
