Fastcrop, the owner of the Primelocation.com property website, has been purchased for GBP48m (USD83m) by the Daily Mail & General Trust, owner of the Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday.
The property website has around 850,000 visitors each month and features around 200,000 commercial and residential properties in the UK and overseas. The Daily Mail said the purchase is part of an attempt to increase its involvement in online advertising.
