Dong Quai (Angelica sinensis)
Description: Dong quai is a fragrant perennial plant, growing to two metres (6') tall, with large green leaves, hollow stems and clusters of white flowers. It is native to southwestern China and Japan where it is now cultivated extensively. Other names used for dong quai include female ginseng or tonic, toki, Tang kuei and woman's herb.
