This will be a memorable week for vocal music, which always figures prominently as we approach the holidays.
The biggest event will take place over at the University of Wisconsin School of Music.
The Choral Union and Chamber Orchestra at UW-Madison's School of Music will perform an all-Baroque program: Georg Philipp Telemann's last oratorio "The Day of Judgment" and J.S. Bach's magnificent "Magnificat."
Performances will be in Mills Hall on Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Single tickets for the December concerts are $15 for general admission and $8 for all students and seniors. They can be purchased ...
