WICHITA, Kan. -- Koch Industries, Inc. today announced that its indirect wholly owned subsidiary, Koch Forest Products, Inc., waived the condition relating to the expiration of the applicable waiting period under the competition laws of Turkey to the previously announced tender offer by Koch Forest Products for all outstanding shares of Georgia-Pacific Corporation (NYSE:GP) at a price of $48 net per share in cash.
In connection with the waiver of this condition, Koch Forest Products extended the tender offer to 5:00 p.m., New York City time, on Monday, Dec. 19, 2005, unless the tender offer is further extended. The tender offer was set to expire at 12:00 ...
