Advantest Corporation (TSE: 6857; NYSE: ATE), a provider of test equipment to the semiconductor industry, announced on Friday (9 November) the availability of test interfacing featuring the company's low-inductance IC socket.

According to the company, the new socket is suitable for package test of high-speed devices such as DDR3-SDRAM and SoC, and delivers yield improvements through its accurate, at-speed transmission of signals and low noise environment.
