One of the main criticisms of FSN North in its first four years of existence was the lack of local programming on the network. Outside of the pro and college games it aired, FSN stuck viewers with a slate of national shows that ranged from average to unwatchable.
That began to change in September, when FSN debuted its locally based weeknight program "FSN Live." On Tuesday the network took another step in the right direction when it televised the first of 16 regular-season boys' high school hockey games. Hill-Murray's 1-0 victory over White Bear Lake will be followed by the Moorhead-Grand Rapids matchup Dec. 16.
