When it comes to child safety there is no substitute for parental vigilance. And nowhere is this more clear than in the case of baby walkers.
Because these popular products increase the mobility of infants, parents must be extra watchful when using them, a point underscored by available injury data--and stressed on product labels. Injuries associated with baby walkers are comparably large, and thus worthy of particular concern. But essential information about circumstances surrounding the injuries has become obscured in a recent campaign against the walkers.
