Federation Council passes Gazprom liberalization law (part 3)
MOSCOW. Dec 14 (Interfax) - The Russian Federation Council at a meeting on Wednesday passed amendments to article 15 of the federal law On Gas Supply, lifting restrictions on ownership of Gazprom shares by non-residents.
A total of 119 senators voted in favor of the law, six voted against and there were four abstentions.
The State Duma passed these amendments in their second and third readings on December 9.
The amendment ends the division of the Gazprom share market, lifts restrictions on the share of the company that can be owned by non- residents, and also secures over ...
