Hindustan Lever sells Doomdooma Tea Company to Mcleod Russel
Guwahati, Dec 13 (PTI) Hindustan Lever Limited (HLL) has sold its 100 per cent share in Doomdooma Tea Company Limited (DDTCL) in Assam's Tinsukia district to Mcleod Russel India Limited (MRIL) at a cost of Rs 69 crore.
A Memorandum of Understanding to this effect was signed between HLL and MRIL in Mumbai yesterday and the transaction is expected to be completed by January 2006, a press release issued by HLL said here today.
