Tibet to focus on midstream of Brahmaputra for power construction in next five years
Shanghai. December 15 INTERFAX-CHINA - An official with the Tibet Power Corporation told Interfax that the company will focus on the middle reaches of the Brahmaputra River in the next five years as it attempts to rapidly boost electricity generation capacity.
He said that the region was keen to improve the power supply in the central part of Tibet, where the Brahmaputra flows.
