The holiday season can be a crunch time for florists and other retailers, so it's a good time for the horticulture students at Syracuse City School District's Central Technical Vocational Center to be getting hands-on experience. They design, assemble and market 100 or so holiday arrangements that are sold to district employees. Their arrangements sell out every year, and all the proceeds go back into the program.
