Monday
Have a meeting at The Sheraton Hotel in Edinburgh - order a coffee. It is without doubt the most caffeinated thing have ever drunk. It is so strong I have palpitations and have to go home.
Am I now at an age where even a cup of caffeine will push me over the edge? It seems the answer is a definitive yes. Walk around at speed until my heart rate gets back to near normal in preparation for tonight as we are off to the launch of Pete Irvine's new book Scotland The Best at Prestonfield.
Always a rip-roaring start to Christmas present ...
