Given the fact that flights from the UK to African destinations are relatively expensive, especially during peak seasons, the announcement of a new airline offering inexpensive flights to West Africa was very welcome.

It became even more interesting when we learnt that the airline was owned by a group of UK based Africans who had seen a gap in the market and found ways of filling it.
