BASEBALL caps are to be banned from an Internet cafe chain amid claims that they are associated with deviant behaviour.
Bosses at easyInternetcafe say the headwear intimidates other customers and can hinder the identification of criminals on CCTV cameras.
Anyone wearing a cap who tries to enter the chain's cafes in Glasgow and Edinburgh will be turned away unless they remove them. If the scheme is successful, it will be introduced in all the company's 41 branches across Britain.
