Welsh scriptwriter Andrew Davies is to turn his attention to Sense and Sensibility, after it was revealed yesterday his adaptation of Dickens's Bleak House is to be sold to a global audience. The Cardiff-born period drama darling will continue his love affair with 19th century novels in his next venture, an adaptation of the Jane Austen classic.
The final episode of Bleak House was shown on the BBC last night.
