If you were downtown Detroit for the Race for the Cure on Saturday, June 11, you couldn't have missed the 70-member strong MACPA team as they made their way along the race route, proudly displaying bright blue MACPA t-shirts.
The MACPA-sponsored team, organized by the New Professionals Task Force for the second year in a row as part of their community outreach efforts, was comprised of MACPA members, staff, family and friends. The group either ran or walked a one-mile or 3.1 mile race route starting on Woodward Avenue to show their support for the 14th annual Komen Detroit Race for the Cure.
