Understanding the effects of pediatric sleep disorders has become a personal crusade for me. My interest in this not only stems from being an educator but also from being a mother.
I have four children, three which suffer from sleep breathing disorders and the other that suffers from nocturnal seizures. When I got my son in for an evaluation he had been suffering from loud continuous snoring for over a year and his ability to concentrate was becoming severely impaired.
