JAKARTA, Dec 20 Asia Pulse - The Indonesian Association of Wheat Flour Producers (Aptindo) urged the government to impose a higher import duty on wheat flour-based food products.
The proposed increase in line with tariff harmonization scheme is needed to protect food processing industry in the country, the association chairperson Ratna Sari Loppies said after a meeting with Industry Minister Fami Idris.
