Karachi, December 20 (PPI): Experts at seminar underscored the need to spread public awareness about the Cochlear Implant in the country to help the deaf people. The program was organized by the Liaquat National Hospital (LNH), where eminent audiologists, cochlear implant surgeons and ENT specialists highlighted the importance of cochlear implant.
Dr. Shakil Aqil, Head of ENT Department, LNH, in his address said that Liaquat National Hospital had done its first cochlear implant in the hospital and was committed to continue this treatment in the future regularly.
