Does The Underground City really float in clouds?
If you'd passed through it,
you too would know that everything
has been unplugged
and plugged back in: the collapsibility of shadows,
though they describe a complete arc;
the left auricle of my heart,
which had the dimensions of a black square,
was it too one of those uninhabitable rooms
that floated high up above us,
nevertheless illuminated,
