It's the season to be jolly -- or better yet, hilarious. Especially if you're one of eight comedians vying tonight for the title of Funniest Comic in Madison 2005.
Sponsored by WiSUC (the Wisconsin Stand-Up Comedy project), which has 40 members, the laugh-off finals begin at 5:30 p.m. in the High Noon Saloon.
"Some of the comedy is dirty and some is not," says WiSUC founder Kendra Frank, who expects tonight's show will hover in the PG-13 range. "We have a real range of styles, from impressions to really alternative comedy."
