Nickel nosedives by Rs 24 per kilo

Mumbai, Dec 21 (PTI) Nickel nosedived by Rs 24 per kilo to Rs 701 on the non-ferrous metal market here today due to heavy selling after a sharp fall in London Metal Exchange (LME) prices.

Elsewhere, tin, copper and brass also declined on lack of industrial demand coupled with lower advices from LME. However, zind and lead inched up on mild industrial demand.

Tin dropped by Rs 7 per kilo to Rs 385.00, copper armeture to Rs 230.00 per kilo, copper scrap heavy to Rs 242.00 per kilo, copper utensils scrap to Rs 216.00 per kilo, copper sheets cutting to Rs 230.00 per kilo, copper wire bar to Rs 264.00 per kilo, ...
